CommunityDevelopmentPartner (CDP) is an e-government software system that automates the Land and Community Development processes with modules that include: Planning, Building, Code Enforcement, Engineering, Business and Commercial Licensing, GIS Viewer and Customer Portal. It is offered either as a combined enterprise solution or as a collection of one or more modules. Each module can be implemented as a stand-alone, but all operate off of a central database for a comprehensive overview of all development activity and history.
Features/Modules Include:
- Land Management Software (Base Module)
This Module functions as the foundation for all additional CDP Modules. It provides for system administration, user management, security, reporting tools, integration platform, etc.
- Planning Module
Brings a centralized view of your business process including: the initial application, permit review and approval, fee payments, hearing schedules, environmental concern and detailed management of individual cases.
- Building Module
Manages permit issuance and the Building and construction processes including: Permits, inspections, plan review, document associations, archival, fees and payments.
- Code Enforcement / Compliance Module
Manages the Code Enforcement process including case management, inspections, ordinances violated, letter issuance, citation issuance, fees and payments.
- Engineering Module
Management of development projects from initial application through letter of occupancy is handled in this module. Engineering-specific project work can be tracked and reported separately throughout the development process.
- Licensing Module
Intakes applications, tracks and manages the review and issuance process - including inspections, multi-departmental review, fee calculations, payments and printing of the final permit of license. Includes fee generation, inspections and embedded forms.
- GIS Viewer
Allows users the ability to use maps and other spatial data in conjunction with CDP data and processes allowing you to examine your date geographically to help solve complex development challenges to ultimately make better-informed decision.
- Customer Portal (Online Portal)
Provides access to City customers to obtain and pay for permits, request inspections, check project status (including plan review status), submit documents and provides transparency for public records. Also, allows a window into the same centralized database which contains data for all CDP modules.
CDP is built 100% on the Microsoft NET platform, offering the latest technology advances. A centralized database houses all your data including parcel information, permit histories, code violations, and more - reducing the chance for errors and duplicate data. Centralized data also allows for easy integration with GIS and Integrated Voice Response (IVR) applications.
CDP's flexible design makes it a user-friendly system for engineering projects as well as land and community development activities. Wireless applications of CDP make it a valuable resource for field services staff.
And because a software system alone cannot ensure efficiency and quality service, each implementation includes consulting and training services customized to the needs of your agency.
