Since our creation in 2000, GovPartner has recognized ICMA as a leader in municipal management and participated in its annual conference and regional events. Since then, GovPartner has continued to support ICMA as a Strategic Partner and contributed our expertise by serving on association committees and contributing client showcase presentations and case studies for other agencies to learn from.

  • 2009 Annual Conference contributions: Abu Dhabi Special Session and Solutions Theater Presentation
  • 311-CRM Project Coordinating Group/Lynwood Webinar:  In early 2009, GovPartner conducted a webinar with officials from the City of Lynwood titled “Knowledgebase Creation and Management” which focused on how the City of Lynwood, CA went about building a knowledgebase as well as demonstrated new tools for capturing information and reaching out to the public.   • 311 / CRM Study White Report (PDF): Read the chapter on "CRM Performance Management" that GovPartner contributed as part of the final report for the first phase of ICMA national 311/CRM study.  Customer Service and 311/CRM Technology in Local Governments: Lessons on Connecting with Citizens.
  • Lynwood Case Study: The City of Lynwood, CA has utilized the RequestPartner CRM system since 2001. The city was selected to share its insight and experience with the CRM system for an in-depth Case Study.  Take a closer look at the Case Study (PDF).
  • GovPartner served on the advisory committee for the ICMA National Study of 311 and Customer Service Technology, the first national study of its type. As an advisor to the study, GovPartner contributed its online RequestPartner services to conduct the first national survey on local government use of customer service technology.  See icma.org/311 for more information on the study.  See the results of the national survey (PDF).
  • To expand citizens' online access to government and make online government services available to local governments of all sizes, the GovOffice Alliance, led by ICMA, reviewed and compared state-of-the-art, cost-effective Web services to local governments in 2003.
